Who we are


Diane Heaven


Diane Heaven has an MSc in Vocational Rehabilitation and qualifications in leadership, mental health, teaching, and programme management.

Diane has been working in vocational rehabilitation since 1998, specialising in mental health and employment. She has worked in Central Government developing mental health and employment policy and guidance in collaboration with colleagues from other Government departments and has led nationally on the development and sharing of best practice.

Locally, she has delivered and managed programmes in the voluntary and statutory sector and delivered directly to mental health service users and employers.


Ricky Newton


Ricky Newton has written, delivered and evaluated specific and tailored training programmes around skills for line managers, stress awareness, and vocational rehabilitation and built capacity in businesses to improve workplace policies, procedures and practices to foster healthy productive staff.

As a job retention and vocational specialist he is familiar with the barriers faced by individuals and their employers and has a proven track record of negotiating positive and sustainable outcomes for both parties.

He has worked in the specialist employment and case management industry for 14 years and is a registered professional with the Vocational Rehabilitation Association (VRA).  He has qualifications in mental health and in providing Information, Advice and Guidance.
